Default \"Increase Hardware Buffer Size\"

I keep getting this error message on my power book G4 when I am hardly running much at all. I am using a Lacie drive as well. I increased the buffer size but it still happens. What can I do?

I am getting this problem on both my mac AND pc. With absolutely no plugs.. and it happens when recording the 1st track! So i cant record vocals at 128 samples.. which i need.

This all happened once upgrading to 7.3.1.

Whats the deal

Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum and, if you are unable to resolve the problem, please post specific information about your computer model, OS verison, Pro Tools version and any attached peripherals. The more detail you can provide, the easier it will be for use to troubleshoot. Make sure to include the error number in any messages you're getting.
