Re: increase H/W Buffer Size ERROR is Killing me
A lot of info needed so we can all help. First a sandra report is needed. You can download it here. Second if you're running W7 32 or 64bit do all the optimizations posted here. Doing this may help but for us still give us a sandra report if not. EDIT: HA Shane, you type faster then me.

Re: increase H/W Buffer Size ERROR is Killing me
im telling you, shane has these kinds of posts hot keyed, he just goes through the board. pressing ctrl+alt+1 for this kinda post, ctrl+alt+2 for the link to the optimizations post, and etc.
shanes really efficient in all aspects of his life. such a complex and complicated individual, with such a simple personality... he should be studied for further analysis, we believe he actually uses 24% of his brain instead of the typical human 8%

Re: increase H/W Buffer Size ERROR is Killing me
That video card with 1gb onboard memory sends up a red flag. PT works best with small-memory video cards, as in no more than 256mb. And you have two of them?
Also maybe get that USB drive out of the way while you're running Pro Tools, and all drives should be formatted NTFS, not FAT 32. And disable wireless. |

Re: increase H/W Buffer Size ERROR is Killing me
Hey i only have one graphics card, dont know why its showing as 2.
the error happens even without plugins active, it can be really random tho, it wont happen for like 10 mins then it will happen loads in a row. tried disabling my antivirus and wireless, and removing my usb pen. im really gutted after building a high spec pc and it still doesnt run right. iv worked out i can disable the message from popping up but then it clicks and pops. any ideas? |
