Amplitube 4 crashing PT 2020.5 Windows?

anyone able to get IK Amplitube 4 CS running with Pro Tools 2020.5 on Windows 10? I had been running 2019.12 and updated to 2020.5. Now Amplitube 4 seems to be crashing Pro Tools on startup. PT just closes with no error message, but the log contains:

running the latest Amplitube 4 (4.10.0 and also tried 4.9.1b). I did submit a ticket to IK but have not heard anything yet. I moved the plugin to "unused" and now PT starts fine. but I had used it in a couple sessions and didn't commit yet, so would like to get back to that eventually...

I have the latest Amplitube and Pro Tools and it's working here.
Have you tried ot delete you Pro Tools preferences?
That often does the trick.

I had to go back to 2019.12 for other reasons so now it's working fine again anyway...

so just to follow up on this one, I installed 2020.9 today and did not have a problem with Amplitube 4 anymore. I had uninstalled it an re-installed it previously so I'm not really sure if that fixed it or if something changed in 2020.9. either way, it did not crash on startup like I had seen before. I didn't really get to try it in a session yet as I still have other issues with Pro Tools 2020 (and how fitting that it resembles everything else do to with 2020...) so probably going back to 2019.12 again soon...
