Structure v1.1 error 9031 and 9019

They've just sent me a potential fix (for PT not structure), will try it and report back.

It didn't. Wasn't a fix at all, just a full 8.1 installer instead of the normal upgrade install from 8.0.3. I don't think the guy who sent it me had read any of the information in the threads here I referred him to.

Am now in conversation with a new guy at AVID via their customer success web program who's being far more helpful. Current indication is that the error is probably fixed in PT9 and is scheduled for a v8 cs release at a later date, but given the intermittent nature of the problem I would not take this as definite. I'm still not entirely convinced they know exactly what's been causing these.

I can hardly believe I'm resurrecting these old threads again but:

This is STILL HAPPENING in 8.1.1. I've had 2 so far and I've only been using it since Monday. It's been 27 now months since I first experienced this in 8.0.3 and reported it, but still no fix.

And if even one more person suggests I try a preference trash I think my head will explode.
