Adjusting Playback Volume

Hello I'm a new member. Already tried searching for similar problems in the archive but havnt seen one like mine just yet.

Hardware: Mbox2 Mini

I have no problem recording audio; the signal is burining fine (even peaked). I can hear a good sound volume while i record. However, once playback, the audio is really low that I can barely hear them. Already turned the headphone knob all the way...and the fader. the demo file given witht the installation cd also has the same low- playback volume. Tried adjusting Window's volume but it didn't help at all. I followed recommended system setting from "Getting Started" but seems like none actually has to do with playback volume. Did I do something wrong? Or I simply need to buy headphone pre-amp to hear a good playback.

To what position is the mix knob on the mini set?

The Mix knob was turned all the way to the left...!!
