Default hdx card and 3rd party usb & firewire

Hi, I want to increase my I/O from 32.

Can you use Firewire 400 & USB interfaces mixed fir the HDX card?

Using Lynx Aurora 8 & Midas F32. Both do not have HDX cards in them.

Not mixed together but you can combine for hybrid uses.
(DJ zi'pin App1 S/R, play to App2 S/R Record

DSP (Via HDX) can expand to 64ch per card up to 3 cards I/O expandable.

Whatever he means you need either HDN (64 i/o max) or HDX (64 i/o per card) to get past the 32 i/o limit

Plus, you will need Pro Tools Ultimate software AND a Digilink license(assuming you want to run the latest version of PT). At that point, the Midas will become nothing but an analog mixer(no direct pipeline into Pro Tools).
