Regardless the Expansion pack is worth it, and she will never know. Like she is really going to think "that compression is really sweet, what the hell did he buy now.".

There is a way to work this, Bud. Perhaps you could tell her that a certain "apendage" will grow larger after you download and play the ERXP.

You may not get an argument or cold shoulder after that.

Well after staying up and seeing the time/date click over to the 22nd of March and then further waiting for the time to countdown on the 11Rack User's Group - I would like to know one litte thing:

• Has the 11R XP been released yet???

You know if this thing gets pushed back any further I am going to explode . And if this thing gets a revised release date on April 1st I am going to be mightly peeved .

Here's all you need to know as far as ERXP with Pro Tools:

1. Update to 8.0.5 LE, 8.1.1 HD or 9.0.2/9.0.2HD. This is because we added some Eleven Rack support to those versions. It's critical to do this first, or your Guitar Window and Rack will show you different things sometimes.

2. All that ERXP does with regard to Pro Tools is to add updated Eleven UI Plug-ins to the Plug-ins folder, with nice new graphics of all the new stuff. So that's it...all of the Pro Tools changes are just new additional graphics in the Guitar Window to support the new Amps, Cabs, Mics and FX. I think our graphics team did a phenomenal job, by the way.

There's no other change within Pro Tools. Nothing to worry about.

It is CRITICAL that you install ERXP AFTER you update Pro Tools to 8.0.5LE, 8.1.1HD or 9.0.2HD. If you accidentally do it the other way around, you'll have the wrong Plug-ins for the guitar window and things won't match. To fix that, just run the ERXP installer again (you can skip the Firmware update portion, since once you run that part once, your Rack will have Firmware 2.0 installed in it already).

The release is scheduled to roll out at 8 AM Pacific. There is always some variation in that, but that's the target.

Sorry if that technically makes it the 23rd for some folks...I did my best to ensure an earlier release, but I can't control everything...
