Default Odd plugin behavior.. Video provided

Pro tools 2018.12.0
OSX HS 10.13.6

I've never before seen this behavior.. and have no idea what could be causing it.

If I open a plugin, then click another plugin, the new plugin displays and then closes. Sometimes I can close the first plugin and open the second plugin, and it closes after about a second or two. The behavior however is intermittent.

Here is a link where you can see a short video detailing what is occurring.

http://ztrack.net/plugins.mov

Any help appreciated..

Do you have any hardware controllers setup in peripherals? MIDI or Eucon? Is Eucon turned on?

No controllers.. EU Control is on to control PT control -

I just updated the UAD software.. and so far things seem normal, but the issue was happening on all plugins and it was not consistent, so to soon to tell if that solved the issue. It seems illogical that it would since the issue started yesterday and nothing has been changed.

Thx for the reply

Are you running the latest Eucontrol? Turn off Eucon if it happens and see if it stops

Nothing that far back.
And if you are using PT Control, you have to stick with with 19.5 (because you can't downgrade the Control app due to Apple's policies.)

What you need to do is go through all the options in Eucontrol that govern how windows close and open. That's what your problem is. uncheck the stuff you don't want to happen. General tab, left column and lower half of right column.
