Default difference between sis chip and inter on the motherboard

hi:
i just bought MBOX and according to the mbox compatibility for xp system requires interl chip on your motherbard, and what i have is sis chip..
i wonder if that will fail launching the protool le properly? because i couldn't launch it, and not sure if this problem can be fixed if i change to intel chip motherboard
