Reflections on EuControl 19.5.1...

19.5.1 is a solid update. No complaints from me. But a lot of the new features seem to accomodate mixers who are mousing around too much instead of actually relying on the surface to select, open, attention, etc.

Do you use it with a Dock and PTControl? No more problems with the regular Mac keyboard?

I don't have any of the problems I've read about on this list. Uninstall/install on Sierra 10.12.6.

What was the Mac keyboard problem specifically?

How do you see that when the major changes were to attention/select behaviour and opening/closing windows and bringing plugins into focus on the Dock/mix surfaces?

It's the exact opposite of what you are stating -- more things are controllable from the Eucon surfaces than before and less mousing is needed.

There are no keyboard issues. The only one I've found in the threads was an improper install. A re-install fixed it.

True. But the new "Attention Most Recently Clicked DAW Area" made me smile because that accommodates the slow method of scrolling on the Mac, mouse clicking on what you want, and then using the surface. As anyone who is reading this probably knows, it's usually faster to use the universe scroller on PT|Control.
