Hearing all tracks in scrub and shuttle

Seems like a dumb question, but I can't find a thing about it in the documentation. I'm running Pro Tools 11 on a Mac Pro with a Artist Transport. I'd like to be able to scrub and shuttle while hearing all tracks. You know, the whole mix. If click in a track to select it and shift click another I can make two play. But if I select too many tracks nothing plays. I've tried selecting multiple tracks, selecting the Master track, and nothing works.

Please tell me there's a way to do this. Preferably that doesn't involve shift clicking into 60+ tracks.

Hi

When we use the Artist MC Control we press down the wheel and scrub.

On our transport we just press the play button and turn the wheel. No need for selecting all the tracks if you don't just wanna listen to a single track or two, then just solo those tracks and scrub away with the wheel

Apparently Artist Transport does things differently, though I would have expected some consistency from Eucontrol. There is no "push down" on either scrub nor shuttle.

Maybe there's some deep, hidden pref in Pro Tools I don't know about.

Oh, crap. Just found this in the manual:

The maximum number of channels scrubbed in Pro Tools is eight, which lets you scrub a 7.1 track, two stereo tracks (four channels), but not two 5.1 surround tracks (12 channels).

Weird. Guess I'll adjust that planned work flow.
