bug in Logic, plugins open all the time

Hey Eddie, I'm able to reproduce this bug pretty consistently now. It is happening on newly created projects. I'm running the latest version of everything, OS X 10.14, Logic 10.4.2 and Eucon 18.3.0.244.

In my test project there are 2 audio tracks. I put a random logic plugin on insert #1 in track 2. When I switch back to track 1, even if there is no plug-in, it is popping up this blank window (attached).

It only does this when selecting a track from a surface, never the keyboard or mouse.

Let me know if you need anything further to reproduce this.

I see this on my system now even without EuControl running. This must be a Logic setting.

It happens for me only when I select a track with a surface, never with a mouse or kb.

There isn't any way to make a "blank" plugin window appear in Logic. I don't understand why Eucon is causing it to show up when you choose tracks with it.

What do you have the purple link icon in the plugin window set to ?

Also we see the Artist mix page LED's issue and have written up a bug report.

By default the purple icon for linked window comes on. I turn it off and close the window, no effect. The next time you choose a track again the window returns (with the purple icon on again as well)

Do you mean "open plug-ins on workstation when editing?" On or off, no difference.. that function is to open the window when the *plugin* is selected on the surface, which works as expected. The bug is that the plugin window opens all the time when the *track* is selected..

Also I want to avert any misunderstanding here, when you say this is happening with Eucon closed, that isn't possible, we may be talking about separate issues.

When the purple button is on, that just means that the window will change according to whatever track is selected. If you CLOSE that window, it will never come up again unless you click a plugin.

This bug is causing the window to open just by selecting a track from a Eucon control surface, in my case the PT ipad app. So you have to close it every time.. It's a pretty new behavior, apple must have changed something again
