Tempo slowed and pitch lowered after import

My band recorded a demo at a rehearsal studio with a pro tools M-powered 8.0 mac based rig. There were approximately 14 tracks, and i sent the files through digidelivery and opened them at my house with my windows based pro tools M-powered 7.0.

Upon opening and playing the files back they were much slower and the pitch was down about a 5th. I called the rehearsal space multiple times and they were very helpful, but nothing has fixed it yet. I've tried making every combination of 44.1 or 48 and 16 or 24 bit, played with my buffer settings, and nothing has returned the audio files to their original pitch/tempo.

I was given a number of someone to contact regarding this situation but i had to leave a voicemail. If anyone could answer this question i would greatly appreciate it.

If it's slowed down, the files have 44.1K in the header but were really recorded at 48K. This can happen when using an external clock.

Import the tracks into a new 44.1 session via the import dialog in the file menu. Make sure Apply SRC is checked, and force the source sample rate to 48K.
