Default LiquidSonics Convolution Reverb - Amazing at $45

LiquidSonics Convolution Reverb

This is by far one of the better convolution verbs I've personally used and it's quite amazing for a mere $45. It can also host guitar cab impulses etc and other IR's as well. The internal modulation routing is pretty impressive. This is another great plug-in in the same league as some of the top independent developers like Massey, 112db, D16 Group, Sylenth, etc.

The developer has been working hard at getting it running in the VST wrapper within Pro Tools on Mac/PC and so far, so good. The current download will work in the VST to RTAS wrapper until April 1st for the purpose of bug reporting etc. What we really need though is to get the RTAS SDK into the hands of the developer for native RTAS support. This is definitely a plug-in that deserves to be ported to RTAS. Any chance we can get this dev the RTAS SDK DigiTechSupt?

Reverberate with the Acousticas IR's make an excellent combination in my books. I'll see if I can get the developer to chime in here with more details on the wrapped version and any other details. We'll also nudge him for RTAS support.

A port over to RTAS would be great, I am already using this in Cubase 5 and Studio One Pro already.

I tried Reverberate in REAPER in it's early stages about a year ago and was pretty floored with it's insane internal modulation and routing. It was exciting to at least see this running in the VST to RTAS wrapper as it didnt work when I tried it in the past. The big downside is we cant automate plug-in parameters via the wrapper. Reverberate just screams, "automate me!" all over it.

I emailed the developer and got a very quick reply. He told me the current download will work in the wrapper and to report any bugs if found. It appears he made a few changes so that it will work better with PT so that's at least a sign of interest in supporting Pro Tools. I invited him here and then we'll pop the RTAS support question if/when he arrives.

So affordable, even a hobo can buy it!

For $45, I'm going to buy it without even trying it first!

That's a tough one. I'd probably start with the L480 if I had to pick just one for now. They also have a free set of impulses from the Bricasti M7 hardware reverb unit.

It truly is a masterpiece of a reverb unit. I got the recommendation from the folks from Acousticas because I wanted a equivalent to the PT Mod delay to recreate the modulation setting for the reverb IR's. I'm blown away at how musical this reverb is!

I personally have ALL of the Acousticas IR's. They are worth every cent. I do believe they offer a discount when you buy the whole set, It's worth checking into!
