I was gettin buffer underrun errors while attempting to burn interleaved files at 12x on my Plextor. I figured out my hard drive (Ext SCSI-2) was not streaming the data fast enuff to the burner. It occured to me that jam was reading both the left/right files at the same time requiring double the transfer rate. When i copied the same files to my internal ATA drive, it burned with no trouble.

The work around i found was to import the stereo file into Protools, let it split the file then export region definitions to the original stereo file. Then in Jam when adding tracks select regions an select the stereo file and burn. Not a prollem since.

Hope this helps
