Default Lava lamps?!?

OK, enough's enough! After another video on youtube showing lava lamps in a recording studio I finally asked myself a question and it is Why? Why in almost every recording studio there is a lava lamp? Is this some kind of show off? If I put 2 lava lamps in my studio will my mixes sound better? Will everyone respects me more? No, seriously, what's the deal with these lamps?

THe Lava Lamp shows that the owner is a cool, nonconformist, artistic person.

It says that if it were 1967 you would be passing a big fat "J" to Jimi Hendrix.

But, it's 2013 and all ya get's the lamp.

That's what I was thinking. Well, looks like I'm not cool enough to own a lava lamp. Going back to my miserable music.

After years of denying myself, I finally broke down and got some. Clients seem to love them(and the client is always right.......no matter how wrong they may be)
