Namm 2013
I just read this on a thread over at ultimatemetal.com regarding Namm:
"Judging by some less-than-subtle hints dropped during Pensado's Place, I think Avid will be announcing something here." Then I found this: http://youtu.be/BfrsBpGD4p0?t=1m38s I also could have swore I heard them saying they would see Greg at Namm too but I can't seem to find it anymore: http://youtu.be/E9tyHyN0zrc Anyone hear anything else?

Re: Namm 2013
Well, looking at the history of releases since Pro Tools 7, early next year would be about the time a new version should come out.

Re: Namm 2013
software versions are usually done at AES in October
NAMM would be a good place of a 003 replacement the time is right for 10.4 to come out

Re: Namm 2013
I have a funny feeling that we'll see 10.4 before we'll see 11. I think it'll be 64-bit though! .4 releases have been pretty significant in the past for whatever reason.

Re: Namm 2013
It'd be nice but I don't know about that. Avid would be giving us 64-bit without having to purchase an upgrade.

Re: Namm 2013
7.4 was a paid upgrade from 7.3, so you never know.
