hey allen what mother board for the pentium d 805

Its only 97 bucks this weekend for the pentium dual core 805. I want to build one of these for my m box 2.
Just need to dbl check the motherboard for it a sfar as compatibility goes
I have never built a pentium machine (but have built 6 allensteins)

ASUS P5WD2, or premium if you need onboard firewire. I have the standard and use and ADS Tech Pyro Firewire card. I opted for the card because it has 3 firewire ports. Both digi approved. Excellent board for overclocking that 805! Every once in a while newegg.com has an open box board, for about 117.00 and you can order the IO shield from estore.asus.com for 5.00 plus 5.00 shipping. Good luck! Also did you read the overclocking article on the 805 on Tom's Hardware ? Quite impressive! Smokes AMD! When you get it running put up a davec test for us to see.

update: act fast they have one now P5WD2
