Default Latency/Buffer/External HD

How do I change Latency/Buffer in Windows 7 without shutting down SE?

Also where is the function to assign my external Hard drive to record session audio files?

Thanks

Default Re: Latency/Buffer/External HD

SE uses a simplified set of controls. In Preferences, you can select either "Recording or Performing" or "Mixing or Producing". This determines the values for latency, buffer size, etc. You cannot adjust these values directly.

In Pro Tools SE, all audio files, etc are saved in the session folder. When you first create a session, save it your external hard drive. If you would like to move an existing session, use File > Save a Copy In... This will duplicate the session on your external hard drive.
