Wait, what?

I just started a session in PTHD11, using my computers generic I/O card, put 64 audio tracks, 10 Instrument tracks with Hybrid on each of those, 10 Aux tracks all with Revibe on each one.

Each audio and Instrument track had Air Channel Strip, Air Dny Compressor, and Dverb on them.

I would expect for it to be even better with an HDN card installed.

I have an HD3 on PTHD10, and have an HD Native Card arriving tomorrow, based on your results, I'm not optomistic. I am hoping to move away from TDM and towards PTHD11, but now, well, that' what I was afraid of.

Still don't understand why I was able to do what I did, and you had issues with much, much less strain on your computer.

Record enabled all 64 Audio and 10 VI tracks, hit record for 10 minutes, all at 44.1, 64 buffer, 6GB Disk Cache, with no errors, nothing, recorded fine.

This is for sure! Eastern Europe is awesome for excellent dev work. My wife fired the India team she was saddled with after collecting years of data on their lack of work and general dishonesty. She now has a team from Serbia and they kick ass and are incredible. Oh did I mention she is from Poland?

We can let the progress and stability of Pro Tools speak for the developers to whom Pro Tools is entrusted.

A great Pro Tools means great developers.

Something is up with T-Low's setup for sure.

We run 100-120 track sessions on our HD12 Apollo Quad Interfaces (2) and 1 Apollo 16 and Satellite Octo on mac pro trashcan 16 GB Ram and internal SSD and one external USB3 Samsung Pro 850 512 GB.

We run atleast 35 instances of VI and maybe 25 auxes with 4-5 plugins on them and minimum 2 plugins maybe 3 on ALL 120 tracks and the 9173 never shows up.

Then we can run 12 audio tracks bounce down and maybe 10 plugins on one of our MBP retina 16GB and get a 9173 or 6101 error.

Restart and it is gone for now but it is not dependant of how many tracks and plugins, the 9173 error is much deeper inside the DAW so some has ot them and some almost never has those errors. I have noticed we only run Apple here and others we work with have PC and "might" have an error once a week..

I use to complain about Protools 12 frequently over here... plenty of crashes all the time, poor midi performance, many bugs while committing multi output VI, etc, etc.

But I must mention that I've never ever had a single 9173 or a 6101 Error.
Never! Its very weird!

Btw, I'm using a Protools HDX with 2 cards on a modded Mac Pro with 64gb ram running Yosemite 10.10.5.

I'm just chiming in here to say I have also never had these errors.
I feel for those of you who do.
I hope perhaps my system details can give clues or eliminate variables.

I have a confession. From my move from hd10 tdm to HDx 12.... I upgraded Mac osx and protools over existing installs. Not even a hint of clean install. But it all worked . No errors. Except when I try to record with tons of VI'S. But that I am used to.
