Updated from 11 to 12 and now i experience lag after recording

i just updated my protools from 11 to 12
everything works perfectly outstanding performance and fast as hell except when im done recording a track even if i punch it for a second or 2 after i stop the recording it freezes for like 16 secs and then the newly recorded track finally appears and everything works fine again after that but the lag irritates the hell out of me so please help im not a protools noob checked all settings and hardware settings everything seems to be fine even disc allocation and delay compensation settings are ok im really unhappy with this so if anyone can help me please do so

What hard drives do you have for thr recording work?
Make and model on those aswell as computer specs and
all info needed for anyone to assist you here, it is hard to
guess what is wrong as thats not happening here in pur studios
so the more info the better,

I have a pc with 2x Western Digital black 2tb SATA600 7200 rpm discs , motherboard is Asus sabertooth p76 with Intel I7 processor and 16G memory
On Windows 10 using mostly Elevenrack as interface sometimes focusrite saffire 56 never have problems with it used this system with pt10 and 11 without any problems even have pt10 still working fine

Did you go into BIOS and disable any floppy drive controllers? You'd be amazed at how many of these boards have a floppy controller running in the background, even though there's not even a port for a floppy drive.

I did that but the problem is still there

Have you got a CD or DVD in a drive? If so, remove it.
