They really are sweet drives. I got the one with the quad interface (fw400, fw800, esata, USB). I figure keeps me open for different uses in the future. I'm still not sure I'll make it my system clone drive or leave it as audio. Something tells me, with everything working, I'm going to want to leave it where it is. :)

Hey I noticed this thread, as I'm in a really similar situation, with similar feelings about Mac and PC, but it's mostly input from 2010-2011. I've been running PT 8 LE on a PC for several years, but my PC is crapping out on me and I'm interested in bumping up to PT 10-11. I would be willing to build a PC (or prefer to buy one pre-built) that I know will be solid with my Digi 003 Rack, but also willing to find a Mac on ebay.
Just wondering if the arguments/details/Mac models are still the same as when this thread fired up?
