7.3.1 QuickTime bounce - 24 bit not available

7.3.1 QuickTime bounce - 24 bit not available

I have a 24/48 wave session.
When i bounce to QuickTime movie I only have 8 or 16 bits available in the dropdown menu - 24 is greyed out.
