Default Studio Furniture and Chairs

I'm putting together a 002 studio and am looking to get some nice chairs and a workstation desk. I can't afford the Herman Miller chairs, and was looking at options at Office Depot for around $150. Can anyone recommend a particular brand of chair they really like?

I also need to get a unit for the computer, (2) 20" LCD displays, Mackie HR828's, mic pre, etc. Looking for something professional and don't mind spending up to $1500 for the 2 chairs and unit. Any advice appreciated!

Staples has Global Deluxe line of chairs that are really nice and nearly all of them under $150.

Just bought a mint one from Ikea (UK though) for £50, about $90. Works a treat, is comfy and rock back nicely for feet on the table action.

Here's what I use... I have 2 of them... Love them... I've used these for over 4 years now...
The Sitting Machine
A little pricey, but I love it nonetheless...

Like all things, you need to sit inside of the chairs, and see which one your butt likes best.

I have an Aeron. This is not a chair, it's a super chair. It's...

Just get something that doesn't make noise when you move.

There is an Ikea in the Chicagoland area. Office Depot has some nice chairs. Musicians friend often has some decent studio furnature. I plan on building a shock-resistant rack, similar to the road racks with foam n-such. My building skills are poor.....
We'll see what happens!

Hi Neeel, can you follow up your chair recommendation, how is it now, and which one is it from ikea? best.

I'm off to Ikea on saturday. I'll have a look out for some chairs.

I think I may end up getting a bean bag :d
