Default Focusrite vs. MBox?

Just got an email from Fosurite regarding some new hardware.. The 2i-2.

Here's a link to a video...

Just saw the 8i6 and 18i6 too...

C'mon Avid, where's the 004? ;-)

No 004 yet, but on the low budget range, there's more info about the new M-Audio Fast Track C600:

I already did another post about it. There's nothing yet on the M-Audio site.

I mention this product only because I think the design is very unique and interesting, and could be a preview of how different a 004 might be from what has come before.

Interesting....

it looks like there may be a more Euphonix-y-ish feel to things - the 004 could be really interesting if they go down that route, as there is still a massive disparity between the integration and functionality, not to mention price of the Command8 Vs the basic Euphonix 8 fader surface.

The MC Control V2 seems great, but that's a big price hike. Something needs to fill the gap.

There's a chap here with a 32 channel ProControl for sale over east... I'm almost tempted. Just not sure how much longer they will be useful..
