Default better featured version of Boom?

is there something easy to use like 'boom' with ability to import/export midi patterns , download different drum kits and not too pricey?

do u think avid will ever upgrade Boom to do this?

Alternatively, D16 Nithonat. Same 16 step sequencer, TR-606 emulator and supports multiple output assignments. And by the way, Phoscyon is a blast! (TB-303 Emulator).

You can at least use MIDI loops from other sources with it now. Just copy them into the instrument Boom is on and it should play fine. Course you can't export any MIDI from Boom...yet. Maybe in a later version. Would be nice. Same for loading in your own samples.

On the other hand, for a freebie, it sure is versatile. I just created a song today using Boom as the main drum. I kinda like it!
