Can't get my iRig Keys Pro 37 USB keyboard to work with PT 12.4

Hi guys,

Well, let me tell you how much fun I have been having with trying to get started with home recording. LOL

I bought PT 12 back in March of this year, then I bought an iRig Keys Pro 37 keyboard. After a bunch of fussing around with it, I eventually got the damn keyboard to trigger sounds in my plug-ins. But then, last week this keyboard stopped working, probably due to the crappy micro USB socket on the side of the keyboard.

And after contacting IK Multimedia about the problem that I was having with their keyboard, they ran me through a few tests to try out and then determined that the keyboard needed to be replaced.

I just got a new iRig Pro Keys 37 keyboard today and plugged it in and it is working with my IK SampleTank 3 stand-alone but won't work when using SampleTank 3 as a plug-in inside Pro Tools.

Obviously, something isn't set properly in pro Tools 12. I have tried to set it up but no luck so far. I don't see IK iRig Pro Keys listed in the numerous manufacturers list in the dropdown box in Setup->MIDI->MIDI Studio Setup

I ended up selecting "General MIDI"

I have in MIDI Studio Setup:
Instrument Name: General MIDI General MIDI1
Manufacturer: General MIDI
Model: General MIDI
Input Port: None
Output Port: None
The Send and Receive channels are numbered 1-16 and are all blue.

Not sure what else I can try at this point. Maybe something in Setup->Periferals?

Did I mention how much fun this all has been so far?

Found it!!!

It seems that Pro Tools finally recognized my iRig keyboard! Yipee!!!

I went: Setup->MIDI->MIDI Input Devices->MIDI Input Enable and after many tries, listed there is my iRig KEYS 37 PRO and the box next to it is checked and it FINALLY works!

Good lord this is Soooooooo much fun spending most nights trouble-shooting one thing after another in my small recording set-up. Hopefully I can start concentrating more on making music soon. But ever so thankful to have this keyboard bug sorted out.
