Default tail pop?

Is there a standard for tail pop at the end of a film reel(35mm)?

I seem to recall 2 sec. If this is the case, does it begin 2 sec after the last frame of picture?

In other words, my last frame of pic is at
01:20:00:00,
the pop would be at
01:20:02:00?

thanks for the help

Default Re: tail pop?

Hi Anders
Yes, the tail pop goes at 3 feet after the LFOP, which equals 2 seconds in timecode. You normally do not put a tail pop on the last reel of the show, however.
