Default Reinstalled OSX10.75, Protools 10 crashes

Had some problems with the system on my Mac Pro tower running OS 10.7.5 and had to reinstall the system. Tried to open Protools 10 and now it immediately crashes when I try to open it--- "Protools quit unexpectedly". How can I get it going again? Any and all help appreciated!

Uninstall PT10, reinstall PT10

Its been a while since I tried to do anything like that. Over the last year or so I've downloaded all the upgrades for Protools 10. Can I uninstall/reinstall if I can't currently open Protools? What is the appropriate uninstall/reinstall procedure?

Use the uninstaller that is installed to the system, then use the installer that you have downloaded.

OK, part of the way there but you lost me. I used uninstall to uninstall Protools. 10. Over the years I upgraded gradually to Protools 10 via the site from early versions. I don't have a downloaded "installer" for Protools 10. How do I get it and where do I go on the Avid site to get it? Thanks.

OK, found the installer in my Avid account and reinstalled Protools 10. Didn't work, Protools crashed, same error message. I saved the long crash report and I'm attaching it as a pdf. Help!

I see you have plenty of memory (32GB) so that's not it. I also notice that you're using PT 10.3.10 with OSX 10.7.5 so that's what I'm a bit concerned about.

Avid Compatibility Chart does say that 10.7.5 should work, but as that 10.3.10 is a pretty new release, I bet it's tested on Mountain Lion 10.8.5 in-house. There were a lot of things Apple fixed in 10.8.4 so is it possible for you to leave the Lion behind?

This all started when Safari wouldn't stay open. I reinstalled OS 10.7.5 and then the problems started. Are you saying that 10.3.10 is not supposed to work with 10.7.5? It did. Has 10.3.10 been completely tested with Mountain Lion by Avid? Don't want to create even more problems. Would uninstalling Protools and reinstalling a slightly older version prove anything? By the way, Safari still isn't working right so I'm wondering if there is a way to test Protools some other way.

10.3.10 is fully tested on Mountain Lion and as far as I have understood it, 10.8.5 is what it runs best on. But with that said, the compatibility chart says it should also run on 10.7.5, just that I haven't used that combination so cannot say.
