Default PT9 Le with 002 and surround setup

Can someone recommend some surround sound speaker setup that is around $2500. Im learning 5.1 surround mixing in school and would like a setup for my personal studio. I have Pro Tools 9LE with the complete production toolkit running on a Digi002 and all i need is the speakers. Im sure its not as simple as getting 5 of the same speakers (especially considering ill need a sub woofer too).

Also, i have several outputs on the 002 so im assuming that it would be fine to mix in surround sound in.

This would mainly be used for post and some music as well.
