Default Shifting everything to the right

I think I'm having major brain issues, because I can't think how to do this.

I'd like to select a region, and nudge it earlier. But I'd like everything to the right of it to move with it as well.

Outside of just using the mouse to select everything to the right, is there a better way? I think there's got to be, and it's just not coming to me.

Thanks all-

One of the four edit modes should do this. Not sure which, either Slip or Shuffle. Probably shuffle. Look in the reference manual for the description of each and one of them will do what you are talking about.

Option+Shift+Return will extend your selection to the end of the session. Nudge away from there!

The key command for "extend selection to end of session" is option-shift-return. To include stuff to the left, it is shift-return. I recently learned this and like it a lot-
