Default drum editing project

Hi,

Awhile back, weren't we going to do an editing contest thing? As I remember, the idea was that a drummer would post a session (of only un-edited drums, not played to a click) that the rest of us would download, edit, and perhaps write some music to.

Do I remember that correctly? Do any of our drum-playing bretheren have, or would they be willing to record such a session for others to download? And could DaB post it?

thanks!

bp

any drummers out there willing to give it a go?

Basically it's just a drum kit by itself, miced in some sort of standard way, playing a groove that isn't so perfect that it can't be edited. I want to learn to do the kind of editing they routinely do on records, and I thought it would be cool if several of us could be working ont the same session, share results, ideas, etc.

thanks. \
