Default Faders won't move

I am using Protools 8 and all was working fine until this morning.

All of a sudden my faders in the mix window will not move. I click and try to drag them up or down, but they won't move. I doubt very much that this is an automation issue as it happens on all of my sessions, some of whihc don't have automation ata ll. Also, I set automation to off on each track just to be sure, and I still can't move the faders.

Any ideas?

Thank-you

Nowhere near enough info to offer any help. What version of PT(is it LE, M-Powered, HD)? and what OS?

I wish I would have thought of that. How do you clear the preferences anyway?

I also believe that the problem had to do with being Windows 10. I reintsalled protools but before doing so, i installed Windows 7

Guitardom wrote a great utility for trashing prefs and I think you can download it from a link on the pro-tools-pc.com site
