Re: Streaming a session over the Net
You could also route your video into Skype and do a conference call. We do this all the time. Blackmagic SVideo Out -> Canopus ADV In. Choose the Canopus as your input source in Skype.

Re: Streaming a session over the Net
Cinesync is the bomb. For spotting sessions, I don't know of anything better. Try it.

Slingbox works great but is a no-go for multiple users. Best of all no subscription fee, just buy the slingbox

Re: Streaming a session over the Net
BUMP..!!
Any update on this for 2019 ? I've Source Connected across the country in 5.1, works ok but..yes, requires the client going to a studio on the other end. Any chance this has been updated to work comfortable to a laptop w/ solid headphones ? (or Waves NX).. Thanks, benny.

Re: Streaming a session over the Net
you could rent a Chroma from stream box for your one or two clients that want this. This is a pricey solution but you could certainly send video and 5.1 Client would need the streambox app on a laptop.

Re: Streaming a session over the Net
If the goal is to run 5.1 (or wider) mix review session with picture lock, but to also make the setup for the client as simple as possible so they don't have to go in a studio (or even run a DAW) then as you mention a solution is encoding the 5.1 (or wider) to binaural and then streaming "stereo" over Source-Live Pro, a Chrome option like SLP or Source-Connect with RTS lock if the client can run a DAW. Chrome on iOS pretty much doesn't work but there is a free iOS app for Source-Live Pro. So it should work easily on Laptops and a iPad/iPhone. Perhaps as you said Waves NX or Blue Ripple Sound or IRCAM/FLUX HEAR v3 or probably many other options can be used to encode the client feed to binaural.
