Default Swept Sine Wave

Hey all,

Firstly I know this is totally the wrong place to ask this, but you all seem so knowledgeable:)

I've found myself in the middle of nowhere in Slovakia and there is a small chapel with the most amazing acoustics here! I'm trying to find an audio file of a swept sine wave so I can set up an impulse response when I get back to London. Any ideas where I can download such a file? I don't have anything with me that will generate swept sine wave. It's a miracle that the Hotel i'm staying in has internet:)

Thanks in advance, i'm only here for another three days and don't want to miss this opportunity.

AudioEase has a program called MAKE A TEST TONE that's well worth the small price they charge. It will do anything you'd ever need.

Where are you in Slovakia? I did a huge orchestral session with the Slovakia Radio Symphony 12 or 13 years ago in Bratislava. We were there for a week and had an great time, even with the incredible COLD!!

I can post one if you specify sampling rate, bit depth and duration, as well as an address to mail to. (maybe I can upload it somewhere to Pinna Prod)

Hey thanks for the replies.

I'm in Piesatny about an hours drive east of Bratislava (I think it's east?!?!). I'm actually on a TV doc shoot doing location sound (SQN mixer, radio mics etc) hence i'm not really tooled up to steal the soul of this chapel. Just me and a laptop, to which i'll link the SQN so i can record the wave.

Florian, i'll pm you my email address if you can send me a file that would be awesome. 48 24 I guess would be ample, and as for length - you know i'm not quite sure. Never really done this before so any recomendations would be appreciated.

Cheers guys,

P.S. Yes it's damn cold here, snowed continously yesterday.

For Altiverb you need a special sweep, not just a normal sweep.
Mail me directly so i can supply you a tone by email, and some instructions if you like.
fokkie at xs4all.nl, ofcourse replace " at " for a "@".
