Default M-Powered 7 & Projectmix I/O problem

I'm using Pro tools M-Powered 7 and the Projectmix I/O. When I am recording vocals or guitar I can only hear it in one headphone or speaker but when I play back it comes out in both, I have tried creating new tracks with different settings (stereo/mono, ticks/samples) but I still get the same problem. It also happens when I rewire reason through it and play back the track, The track plays in both but I still get sound only in one side but it always comes through both on playback.

This is very off-putting when I'm trying to record and I wondered if anyone could help me or suggest what it may be, I've looked through the manuals and everything but can't find a solution so I would appreciate some help.

Also, does anyone know how to assign the rotary encoders, I'd like to set them for panning?

Would really appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Default Re: M-Powered 7 & Projectmix I/O problem

Opem 'Projectmix Control Panel' and check the 'mixer' page to see if the inputs channels you want to use for mono inputs are panned center. For a stereo pair, leave one of them hard left the other hard right accordingly.

Guitar and microhphones are usually mono so it has to be panned center to be heard from the both L & R channels equally.
