Default I think I found a bug with the Dyn Delay - High Cut

So I am making some presets, in the Eleven Rack window in PT I was typing in alot of stuff for the parameters on the Dyn Delay - but everytime I type in a value in the HIGH CUT section it never changes, it just stays at the same value it was set at before typing in a new value. All other values change when something else is typed in (Mix, Rate, Low cut ect...)

I scrolled through a few other rigs that have the Dyn Delay and tried typing in new values in those rigs (high cut) and they do not change either - so its not a one time thing.

Can someone else try this out? I would like people with LE8, PT9 and PT10, Windows and OSX to try it as well so we can see if this is specific to a PT version or platform.

Just place a Dyn Delay on any rig or scroll to rig with a Dyn Delay already in place, look at the value HIGH CUT is set at and remember that number, click in the area for HIGH CUT, type in another value, Enter, what happens? does it change or stay at the previous value?

Thanks

Hey thanks for testing. Good to know its not just my system or rack.

Its not a huge bug or even that much of a problem to just turn the knob, but I just noticed it and thought I would mention it.

Thanks for taking the time to check your system Holyoli.

<usual whine about loading PT to get to editor>

But, anyway... if you are talking about the EQ section of the DynDelay I didn't seem to have a problem changing the High Cut value by typing in a value. Can't actually supply a video showing this unfortunately - no software. But it did work. I also changed a value in the low cut - by typing to make sure the High Cut kept it's value - and it did indeed keep it.

I'm using Win XP, PTLE 8.0.5 (and not by choice ).

I just thought I'd let you know.

Hmmm.... very interesting findings. I wonder if this is a PT9 only issue?

I'll have to fire up my LE8 rig on W7 and see what happens.

Yes I am talking about the High Cut on the Dynamic Delay- only. Everything else changes when a value is typed in and accepted, just not High Cut.

Holyoli are you on PT LE 8, PT9 or PT10 these days?

Thanks for the report Vercingetorix

Just noticed something : actualy it works when you type and replace the value, but you have to click twice on the the small window which becomes white and then enter that new value

On the low cut window (like the others) just click once, and when you type, the window turns white and accepts your value when you press enter

Ok, so if I click twice, and then use backspace and type in a new value and press return, it works. But If I replace the value fully (all text highlighted before typing) it doesnt seem to work.

Strange indeed.

But still a bug, you should only have to click once like every other entry box.

Thanks for checking this out guys

Yes, if you use backspace or if you select the value like when you want to cut inside a text, and then type the value, it works.

Bugs, bugs, bugs... (wasn't it a song from Sabrina ? )
