Server down preventing sign in

Anybody else got these issues?

just downloaded media composer first, and was going to give it a spin on my main computer, i'm getting issues logging in the application manager says that avid servers are down.

What's weird is I can download into my Apple account via the Google browser no issues.


Is there a trick to this application manager?

Haven't used it in a while.

I can log in to my Avid Master Account at this page: https://my.avid.com/account/orientation
with no problem. Might be an App Manager thing.

Let me know how it goes.
I installed MC 1st last night and it will not work. Error popups during the window that states something like "Checking Resolutions" and have to close it down. I updated my video drivers and such just to be sure and still the same thing. I know another user that is getting this as well.

I created a support case about it.

I also am trying to load it onto my laptop

What's interesting is Avid is silent (on the support case side) they are usually really quick and helpful.

Maybe they know things aren't right anywhere near MCF

So Avid support said it's a known thing...the not being able to sign in....


I know it sounds overly dramatic but I put off learning video forever but now I needed it.

MCF problems, I downloaded FCP and I was able to jump in and use it right away....

I want to like you Avid I really do !!!

On a positive note, I brought the video I created with FCP back into PT for audio and VO work....

And the Video Engine worked flawlessly

First time I have used it ever....my first system was 7.3 and I've just now cracked the video seal....

That's strange... I saw this old thread and realised that people had similar problems back in 2017. I'm not an idiot! Hurray! But! The problem still exists and I didn't solve it. Can someone help me with that? On the other thing, I guess I will end up with this old and just find a dedicated server for this purpose. One of my friends even recommended one to me. He says that this is the best dedicated server USA he ever used. Maybe I will use it too, I don't know.
