APP APP APP!!!!!!

People are asking for it! For years!

I have to tell people "no we use an outdated model, we don't have an app!"

Just yesterday I got this email:

So get that APP running! Now!

So far it sounds like everything on S6L then is considered finished... because no one has mentioned anything there...

Upgrading with MADI? What do you mean?

There was no S6 stage box at the time, wouldn't have been possible to make that standard...

An S3L-X is at a list price of 17-29k depending on the IO.

are you talking about a new console here, or do you mean you'd want to use more than one S3L on a single E3?

How about an S4 surface that can operate on either the E3 or E6 engines. With a streamlined master section and channel controls similar to the S6L.

Something similar to the physical footprint of SC48 but without an engine inside of it. And please not all black so we can see the encoders, LEDs, and buttons.

But S6 is 1 year old more or less and should be easy to implement something to make easy share signals/channels between both consoles of the same product-line and manufacter, isn't?

I lose jobs just because I own a S3. It's not easy to share anything with other consoles on a multichannel digital domain or find a decent and relative cheap DANTE-to-AVB. It's not only about S6 interoperability.

A second S3 would be cool, or just a simple 8 channel fader box like the Artist series.
A lot would be easier if there was an app, better overview, extra faders there and so on.

The S6L is ready as I see it, as long as there are no bugs.
Apart from a missing iPad app

For Madi: there are plenty of adapters to Madi, from Pivitec and motu, so that is not so high on my priority list.

And AVB is gaining popularity, just nobody is talking about it.

Look at the LA12X amps from lacoustics, they have AVB now

i gladly stand corrected, but it won't affect the argument.

well actually a new console, but both make sense.

well i never used one, but i'm happy to repeat myself:
-the aux sends per channel per aux send pick-off point selection: pre EQ Post comp, pre EQ Pre comp or just post

-not sure how the pick-offs are on S6L on MTX, but it would make sense if they weren't global as the are on the Venue line. It's so much nicer to have Recording/ Camera feed of an MTX wich is pre L-R processing. and the feeds to other speaker arrays be post L-R. On the venue it is pretty silly.

-per channel different aux scope, of course you link snapshots, but it takes more time when programming.

Thanks for your input RyanJ

Why without the engine?
