8.0.5 shuttle and scrub

Are these two features kind of dumbed down for the LE version? I've got a Contour Shuttle Control Pro v2 that I've been using for years and this is the first program that has give me this kind of a fit with it. I looked in the shortcuts manual and if I am reading it right you have to upgrade to get full functionallity?
