When is the next eucon software upgrade?

Hello Avid,

Is it possible to have an idea of when the next eucon software will be available? I have seen loads of features on the artist series "mc control" (specially with the edit wheel) that are not yet available on an MC pro that cost 20 times more . Don't get me wrong We love our 2 system 5-MC mixing boards but we think that we deserve at least the same features as the Artist series...

I'm really just about peeved at the ease of assignments on the artist series versus my MC Pro. It's so easy to assign trim/fade in and out switches to the artist's series jogwheel. Whilst this is not possible in the Pro series!! I can do range in and out but that's about it.I mean WTF?!! C'mon that's utterly freaking ridiculous!. It just is...

You guys aren't using the artist and pro together at once are you? Just wondering if it's possible.

I know you need an MC PRO to be able to use the 408T fader modules and don't believe you can use a MC-Pro with a MC mix but I don't have the Artist series so can't confirm.

Ok thanks for the help. I think I would be great tO be able to have a mc pro and a mix working together but I realize that probably won't happen.

You can have Artist and Pro systems on the same network. The 2 surfaces however can not be combined in a single "system"

The MC Pro itself serves the same function as EuControl does on Artist workstations. Workstations and additional modules attach to the MC Pro.
EuControl lives on the workstation and the Artist surfaces attach to an instance of EuControl.

Any EUCON workstation on the network can be attached to an MC Pro or to EuControl, but not both at the same time. In EuControl you can detach the local workstation from the workstation tab making it available for other instances of EuControl or MC Pros to attach to it.
