Exclamation Mbox 2 mini drivers for Windows 7?

Okay, so this might be confusing...I recently upgraded my protools 8.0.3 to 8.0.4. and before that time, I had installed windows 7 on my computer, and I was able to access my Mbox 2 to use for third party applications such as using it for iTunes, any music player, internet, the whole nine yards...basically my sound card for my computer (other than in ProTools). Now that I upgraded, while I was mixing a project, I noticed something weird going on, so I decided to check my hardware buffer size. For some ODD reason, I guess the upgrade made most of the buffer size options disappear?

I researched it, and found out I needed to downgrade back to 8.0.3, so I did so. Now, everything in ProTools is fine. I'm getting all the necessary buffer sizes. However, my Mbox is not being recognized under sound and devices to use for third party apps. It's installed, and is actually showing up under devices (start > devices and printers..and is listed under unspecified.) but under playback and recording devices, it's not showing up anymore? Why is this? and can somebody help me out? I tried installing some drivers from the Avid website, but none really seemed to work.

Thanks a lot :)
