where do I find a guide? LE 001 6.4

I just bought and downloaded LE 6.4 but it didn't seem to come with much of a guide - nor does 6.4 seem to have a help feature
- or am I suppose t use my "getting started guide" that came with my initial OS 9 set up

- I'm missing something

are there certain things you want to do to start? anything in particular? the Pro Tools user guides haven't ever been a huge helper rather than some basic information. I bet you could find a Used PT 6.4 book somewhere that would really have good info.

You can download the "Pro Tools LE 6.4 Documentation Installer for Mac OS X" on this page (5th link from top in "Downloads" at bottom of page). Install that and you'll have all the PDF manuals you could ever want. It *should* also then link the proper documents to the choices in PT's "Help" menu so that the PDFs should open if you choose "Help" within PT.

Hi Odds are, thanks, just posted what I was trying to do, which was this ;

how do input effects? - simple I should know this
I just got 6.4, am using on a new op system OSX

- thou the effects are listed in the upper choices, I can't figure out how to input any of the effects onto the tracks, I was able to bus directly from the track when I was in my Le001 5.4 or something on my OS9 - now not sure how it works
