Is there a way to get a 4 count before recording starts?

Ive been tinkering around with the pre roll, and post roll in the transport section, and I tried tampering with the click/countoff, in the setup window, but I cant for the life of me get any count before recording begins, can anyone help me out?

Did you select "Count Off"? Make sure it's hi-lighted green.

If you do not see the option, click the little down arrow and make sure you are showing MIDI Controls on the transport.

You can double click the Metronome Button to open the Click/Count Off Options.

You can also use the number '8' on the Numeric Keypad to toggle Count Off ON/OFF if it is set to Transport.

This info if for regular Pro Tools, I'm assuming it's the same for Express. I'll check and if it's different I will let you know.

Thank you for your help, I found it, and you were exactly right, just like on pro tools 11, it was outlined in green, but not highlighted in green.
