Input quantize set up ?
Everytime I record a midi part, the first note hit is always put behind by Pro tools midi sequencer.
I'm a descently good performer however what I hear is always worst that what I played. Any recommandations for good input quantize set up to start with ? Thanks

Re: Input quantize set up ?
Do you mean you don't hear the first note or that you actually hear it earlier than when you played it? If you don't hear it at all you might be able to fix it by changing the main counter to display "Bar:Beats". I don't know why but it worked for me. If the note is early then change the input quantize resolution to a smaller interval, maybe 16th notes but it depends on what your playing. You have to try different settings until it sounds right. Maybe try with Input Quantize disabled and quantize after you record.
