ProControl Main Unit problems....
Hi all. Our ProControl has been awesome for years and today, while I was hitting STOP on the transport control, I had a static shock. After that happened, the ENTER button on the keypad, STOP button on the transport, SRC 3 button, Assign/Enable buttons 2,4,6,8 and the GRAB Edit Tool buttons do not work. That's all I have found that doesn't work as of right now, but I'm in a session and need to get this work out the door.
I've restarted everything, reset firmware, reinstalled PT 7.2, etc....... Luckily, there is a soft workaround for practically everything that is not working as of now..... Anybody hear of such a problem before or where to find an answer? Also, when I go to UTILITY to try and test some stuff out, the ENABLE button on line 2 doesn't work on several different UTILITY pages. I'm guessing that is not a good sign and leads me to believe it is a hardware issue and not a software issue? One of my coworkers just told me that the Spotlight function on the G5 is not coming back with any results when project names are entered...... Any and all assumptions, guesses, queries accepted! Thanks. |
