Apogee DA-16x with Avid HD Native
I have recently acquired an older Apogee DA-16x with an XHD card for expanding my Native rig. Pro Tools sees the apogee as a Digital 192 as it should, but I can't get anything out of it. I using a signal gen plug sending tone out of what should be the apogee outputs but nothing lights up on the front of the apogee and no sound obviously. Any experts here with the DA-16x setup? Everything is locked as it should be on the front panel and I have the input set to option on the apogee. Can't figure it out.

Re: Apogee DA-16x with Avid HD Native
Give us some details about your setup. In PT 10/11, with the correct firmware, the DA-16X should be seen as an HD I/O.

Re: Apogee DA-16x with Avid HD Native
You need a firmware update for the X-HD card to work with HD Native.
Here: http://www.apogeedigital.com/support...t-support#x-hd V3.0 is what you're after. As Benny_cha_cha rightly points out, your DA16X should appear as an HD I/O. |
