I like to get the Avid Stuff out of the Studio...

Pro Tools 11 HD License for sale

Make me an realistic offer, and i will take the transfer fees

(No Avid Hardware, no iLok included)

Hi,

Just a heads up! you can't transfer HD licences without doing a transfer of ownership along with the hardware that was purchased with the HD licence.

you could physically ship the ilok with the licence on it but then the new owner can't register it and won't be able to upgrade etc.

Hi,

OK i do believe transfer is possible then! but I'm not 100% sure. you'll know by looking in your ilok manager if it has a transfer button or not.

I asked this exact question and we are allowed to transfer HD11 licenses without hardware, I was surprised by this answer but Avid said we are allowed to sell HD11 licenses without hardware and it doesn't matter if they are CPTK upgrades or not!

Could you share exactly who in the Avid corporation said this practise is OK and/or point to any official documentation on this issue.

Hey

Customer service have said this to me and several other members.

The fact you used a CPTK to upgrade from PT Native + CPTK is allowed according to Avid.

You still have to go through Avid, and pay 80 bucks to do the transfer.
