Default DIGI 002 Rack - Newest version of Pro Tools I can upgrade to?

I've been on break for a few years, but want to get my music equipment up and running again.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and would prefer not to switch to Windows 10 unless someone can provide a really convincing argument for it.

I have a DIGI 002 Rack and want to keep using it. I want it to have full functionality.

I still have license for Pro Tools 7.0.

What is newest version of Pro Tools that I can upgrade to?

I'm not too worried about these other applications, but it would be cool if they were still compatible.

Ableton Live 7.0.3
Reason 8.0

I googled it earlier, and found this chart.

http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...ility/en353241

It says the most recent compatible version is 8.05.
But that chart was last updated 09/01/14.

From searching google, I see people mention that they were able to get the DIGI 002 Rack working with Windows 10 and Windows 12. They just did not go into much detail about it.

I am fine with installing drivers, or doing stuff like registry edits in Windows, as long as there are clear instructions to follow. I just really prefer a simple installation, and don't want to "hack" Windows too much just to force it to work.

No registry editing required! Just install the latest 003 drivers and you can use any version of Pro Tools you want (including the latest version, 12.8)!

I use my 002 Console with 12.6 every day. Full functionality!
