HD Native card in PCIe x1 slot?
Mbox 3 Pro is Firewire 400. But you might have 800 on the MOBO and an adapter cable. You tell us.
Apogee is out because you have a PC. The Avid experiment with rebadging Apogee Quartet is over. Assuming an Apogee products (Quartet presumably) might sound worse than an Omni is uh amusing. The Omni is an OK interface, but nothing mind shattering. I would put it close to your Mbox 3 Pro. The Omni magic to me is how it adds nice utility IO and basic monitor control to larger digilink rigs, or small ADR, vocals or mix rooms to studios that run Avid hardware. But it is also long in the tooth now and kinda an orphan hanging around beyond the arrival of the MTRX, not clear for how long. Many interfaces nowadays provide pretty good quality sound, I would highly value vendor support esp, proven ability to provide timely high quality driver updates for new OS releases. If you are looking to get a setup that sounds better than what you have now I would not assume the Mbox 3 Pro is the weak link. You might be better off spending money in mic(s), an outboard preamp(s), monitors or headphones. The Mbox 3 Pro is not a bad sounding interface.
